Wooden Hot Tubs

On the United State, the soaking body tradition can be found since the Native American era. The booming of hot tub usage is happened on early 80′s and now day we can easily find hot tub on every house. We can find various types of hot tub, but usually we only find two types of materials: acrylics and wood. Acrylic is commonly use, but the wooden hot tub is also the favorite because it has unique appearance.

The wooden hot tub is usually chosen because we want to create different atmosphere for our hot tub. The maintenance of wooden hot tub is different from the acrylics ones. Since it is made from wood, redwood or cedar wood, the components of the wood contain specific toxins that able to limit the possibility of wood to rotting. Since the components can blend with the water, we are not suggested to dip our body directly to the new wooden hot tub; it must be cleaned, drained and filled with fresh water.

The wooden hot tub requires periodic maintenance to prevent leak, microorganism, decomposition, and many more. The maintenance can be done daily by cleaning the wooden hot tub in details and checking if there is a leak on the wooden hot tub. Hygiene is the important thing to keep; we have to use the special liquid to cleaning hot tub and keep the hygiene.
